Course Description

This course builds on the introduction to counseling theory and intervention (CPSE 646) course. From that foundation, evidence-based counseling techniques specifically designed for children and adolescents within school settings are presented and practiced.

3. Students will identify strategies and best practices for implementing a school-wide social emotional curriculum in a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Using principles of implementation science, students will identify and apply stages of implementation, implementation drivers, and key components of system change.
