Candidates will gain an understanding of the similarities and differences between the Discourse practices and conventions within and between the various STEM disciplines.

Candidates will gain an understanding of the theories related to Discourse (see Gee, 2002, 2004) and the implications of these theories for the various STEM disciplines.
