Learning Outcome

Students will demonstrate interest in the key elements of research design and methodologies employed by modern productive scientists invited weekly to BYU from various institutions.

Learning Outcome

Attending students will obtain greater breadth and depth in their scientific knowledge and will therefore prepare for their thesis/dissertation defense and oral exams by exhibiting the ability to critically evaluate broad concepts of modern neuroscience in oral formats.

Learning Outcome

Students will be able to implement new research methodologies, presentation skills, and interpretive approaches learned from invited speakers in their own research emphasis.
