Learning Outcome

Students will demonstrate (1) the ability to analyze and graph a score, including factors of form, rhythm, melody, harmony, texture, dynamics, and balance, (2) the ability to prepare the score for rehearsal, creating a clear rehearsal plan, while showing challenges in the score and offering the means for meeting those challenges, and (3) conducting the score in a manner that communicates its style and character.
